Starting a new venture is not an easy task especially when you are young but with zero experience of the respective field that you have chosen. Your mind will be juggling between lot of if’s and buts’. On top of that you will get to face couple of people who just have the business of bringing your motivation to ground level. A firm mind and determination is the most important factor while starting up anything. It might be a petty thing like preparing a tea for you or like getting into business. Even before you keep your complete idea in front of someone they pass out a statement ‘damn dude this is very risky. You are very well settled in your job. You get good monthly salary with so many perks and zero tension. Why do you want to get into business and increase your BP? What if you get into losses? How will you manage your daily expenses? etc etc’. If it’s a girl they will ask ‘why don’t you simply get married instead of all of this drama? Find a rich guy and get settled. Business and all is not your forte. Simply don’t take tension and lose your mind. Instead lose some weight bla bla’. Though we are in the 21st century society will never let us do what we want to. Instead they will try to put their ideas on our mind and expect us to act accordingly. If you don’t then you are unfit as you don’t match up to their standards.

So guys even our story is no different to this above drama. Even we had to face the same trauma like some of you may have had faced at the time of deciding to be an entrepreneur. Trust me it’s one hell of a time. There will be a breaking point when your mind will be completely crushed with so many inputs by others and you will be at the verge of giving up and then from nowhere you get that positive vibe and you ignore the bullshits and keep a first step towards your longtime dream. Take One Production is our brain child whom we have bought into existence after a lot of thought process and long time discussion. We want to nurture it in a way that it achieves great heights. The reason to get into this field is because as a human anything that glitters makes you interested in it. So this is a glittering world. So we wanted to frame our own dream in it and show the sparkle of it to others. Everyone wants to make money. So do we; But more than that we wanted the young minds to join hands with us in giving a more creative touch to the art that lies within each one of us. Also we wanted to give our small contribution to the society by helping the young talents to get into this industry.

We are based in Bangalore. We completed our last project recently and got a good response from the masses. We will put up a different post for it. Starting the Production House is not an easy task. You have to follow couple of rules and regulations like any other business, get yourself registered at the Film Chamber, look for some young and talented bunch of guys etc. The idea of starting up a production house is not sudden or of one person. There are several minds behind it and also there are long hours of discussions; lot of agreements and couple of disagreements. When you are very much determined to do something nothing in the universe can stop you except for yourself. We were a bunch of guys supporting each other and lifting each other’s morale when needed.

Tough task among all was to name our child; because that was going to be there with us forever and we would be identified by it in future. After contacting our friends, families, online tools and various other platforms finally we settled down with “TAKE ONE PRODUCTION”. The very reason to choose this name is because in any field number “ONE” is superior. If you are “FIRST” in anything you will always be remembered and we wanted to be at the top. Apart from that the sound of the name was good. We could feel when we called out the name. There was an emotion. Moreover this is the only name which we unanimously agreed for. So without any second thoughts we finalized this and got ourselves registered. Another difficult task was to design the logo and this was eased out by our dear friend Srikanth Patil. He beautifully designed the logo for our Production House. You can find it below.

FB-logoThe feeling when you have taken the first step towards your goal is something we can’t explain in words. We had never felt the way we did when we got ourselves registered at the chamber. There was lot of fear but our confidence just suppressed everything. We knew that this was just the beginning; the real battle will begin from now on and we were completely prepared for it. We were open for any sort of challenges that came our way.

It’s been several months that we have come into existence and we are happy with majority of the things that have taken place over these months. There are couple of undeniable facts too. But it’s a part of the game. There is lots to learn and at the same time lots to achieve. Like Napoleon Hill rightly said “Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, the mind can achieve.” we too are firm that our mind will lead us to the spot where we want to be. The path is very difficult but our will is tougher than the odds. We are confident that sooner or later we will definitely make a mark in the industry as well as in the society.

19248078_675804099287619_4697960962970230830_n“Chitta Chanchala” means a fickle mind. Chitta is nothing but ‘mind’. Whereas Chanchala means ‘fickle. ‘The word fickle is defined as unstable, unsteady, variable inconstant; likely to change frequently often without apparent or cogent reason.

Our movie revolves around various characters with unstable mind. Their thought process works in such a way that it’s difficult to understand their plan of action. Among all of these characters finding the most fickle mind is the real challenge. Let us give you a small gist of our story.

Ours is a suspense thriller movie. You get to witness family drama, romance, fights, crime, suspense, comedy etc. The story belongs to a village by name “Amasebail”. Pavan who’s a lead character in our movie comes from an affluent Gowda family. His dad is the most influential person in their village. Entire village bids utmost respect to them. His dad is a straightforward and a man with good nature. On the other hand Pavan is notorious and playful. A lot of villagers have negative opinion of him. He will be roaming with his friend Ghante for whole day. He falls in love with Jyothi; daughter of Sheena and one of the domestic servants of Pavan’s house.

Though they face lot of opposition from both the families their love continues to grow. Like fate would want it series of murders take place in the village. In these tragic events Pavan, his dad and Jyothi too fall victims. Inspector Pradeep starts to investigate the issue. Down with luck he finds zero clues which could help him further investigate the matter. Entire village thinks it to be an act of ghost or like they call ‘Gramada Bhootha’.

During this period Pradeep gets transferred to another city. After couple of months to his horror he accidentally meets a look alike of Pavan. He Tries to go into the depth of this matter and faces many odds. The real challenge ahead of him is to find the identity of Pavan’s replica and also whether the deaths were an accident, a murder, or an act of ghost. Will Pradeep be able to solve the mystery or give up?

You have to watch our movie to find answers to these questions. We bet you that each moment will be a nail biting one. Don’t blame us if your mind gets fickled after watching our movie. One thing we can assure is of that our movie will definitely not get you bored or disappointed. Drop in your comments once you watch our movie.

FB_IMG_1497341546998For any entrepreneur his/her first project will be the most important one. So like anybody else even for us our maiden project was the most important one. “CHITTACHANCHALA” is our first movie. It means a ‘Fickle Mind’. When Director Yku Sundar Yettinatti contacted us with the story we were both happy as well as skeptical about it. The main reason was because it was his debut movie too. So in short it would be a new team with zero experience; But as we were impressed with the story plus he was one among our friends and so we couldn’t say no to him. Movie making involves the efforts of too many people. It can never be a one man show. Next tough task ahead of us was to getting the right guys on board. Finding the Producer who would be interested in your movie is the most important part; because it’s not necessary that the story that you have liked can impress someone else too.

We started with the hunt of finding a producer. To our surprise or can say by God’s grace one of our team members’ brother was so impressed by the story that he agreed to produce our movie. This was the moment when we left a sigh of relief. As the budget was bit too heavy on his pockets we had to pitch in 2 co- producers. When you have a good bunch of friends there is very little left to worry about. 2 among our friends readily agreed to be a part of our team. So we had Karunakar as Producer, Sharath Kumar Kadri and Raghavendra Nayak Yettinatti as Co- Producers. Next thing was to finalizing the technicians. That work was done by our Director. Music was composed by our dear and a very talented friend Rajesh Raaj. Famous singer Hemanth has sung one of our movie songs. Cinematography was done by Kumar Chakravarty. Posters were designed by Shrikanth Patil.

For any movie to be successful along with the Director and technicians the lead and supporting roles for the movie are very important; because they will be enacting the story on screen. If they are able to justify the imagination of the Director by enacting the right emotions then there is nothing more important than that. Karunakar is Divam Kunder’s brother. Starting a Production House was Divam’s idea; but not even in his wildest dreams he had dreamt that someday he might be the lead role for our first project. When the producers and co- producers referred Divam for lead role our Director asked him to come for the audition and was impressed by his looks and acting skills. So he was finalized then and there. Initially convincing Divam was a little tough task as he was one of the most successful bankers at Karnataka Bank. But like fate would ask for he agreed for the offer. We had set up auditions at couple of locations and Pratika Saroy and Dhruthi Sai were chosen as the lead roles for the movie. Yku himself wanted to play the role of the comedian and he auditioned our producer Karunakar for the police role as he was very impressed by his appearance. We wanted some senior artists too in the movie who can guide us with our work. So we contacted Prakash Heggodu, Chitra Shenoy and Prabhakar Kunder. They were more than happy to be a part of the team after hearing our story. Other supporting roles were hired through various other sources but each one had to go through the screening.

When you decide to shoot your movie once the cast and crew is finalized next most important thing is location. This takes a good amount of time as if you choose best location for your movie it will enhance your story and also the picturization of the movie gets easier. After couple of location visits we shortlisted the places in and around Mangalore, Udupi, Kundapur, Mysore, Bangalore etc.

The final task was to fixing the shooting date and time. After contacting each one from the newly formed team we finalized the dates which was feasible to everyone. We asked each one from the casting team to brush up their acting skills and to be prepared for the shooting. Each one was very excited as well as a bit worried as it was a new experience to all. Till the whole team is comfortable with each other there will be some sort of chaos among the team members. As a production house we were confident about our choices. As it was our first project we wanted to give our best shot. So with lot of hopes and passion we were looking forward to the shooting days.
